What to expect from your reiki treatment(Required)

I have read and understand the what to expect from your reiki treatment section of this form

Reiki is “Universal Life energy” directed by an "attuned" individual (practitioner) to another individual or group through therapeutic touch.
Reiki is given by placing hands on, or 1 to 2 inches above, parts of the body that correspond to the chakras, meridians and organs. A full reiki treatment can take between 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Reiki Is a gentle, non-intrusive touch therapy which brings deep relaxation & balance to the recipient and giver.

Reiki restores natural energy balance in the body and evokes a sense of peace and well-being
Reiki compliments the healing properties of medicine, naturopathy, massage and other therapies.

Reiki by design can do no harm.

Reiki is most effective when you become a willing participant in your own healing process.
Reiki can pass through clothing, bandages, casts etc.

What you will feel:
Different people feel different things during a Reiki treatment such as:

- Nothing at all
- Heat or Cold coming off of the practitioners hands or throughout their body
-Tingling or prickly sensations.
-Involuntary muscle twitches
-extra saliva production
-hear sounds
-have vivid images pop up in their minds
-feel the overwhelming desire to cry

While you may feel all of these things or none of them, know that Reiki can absolutely do no harm.
Many times during treatment energy blockages are being released and are causing these things to occur and come up. Please DO NOT TRY AND HOLD BACK OR FIGHT ANYTHING THAT COMES UP.

If at any time during your one on one treatment something unusual comes up, or you have the desire to discuss an emotion or feeling you have, or you are simply too hot or too cold, please mention it immediately. During a group session, please wait until the end to ask any questions but do adjust yourself as needed to be comfortable. As Reiki practitioners we have seen and heard many things and can be trusted to keep your experiences to ourselves. What happens while you are on the Reiki table is only between us unless you choose to share your experience with others.

Reiki is the downloading of divine life force energy, or the energy of pure love, to relax you, and provide you the space and path to heal yourself. Please understand that your Reiki practitioner is not responsible to you for the outcome of your reiki treatment. Most importantly keep in mind that Reiki is a healing energy from the Universal Life Source and therefore CAN DO NO HARM.

My Approach

Reiki has been a transformative journey for me from healing my migraines to helping me find who I consider to be my soul mate. I think its important to know that Reiki does not heal you and neither do I; Reiki simply provides you the space and path that allows you to heal yourself.

It is my intention to share the gifts, the path, the space, and the experience of Reiki with as many people as are willing and open to receiving it, so that each person might find the space to relax, breathe, connect with their higher self and heal.
